Our Hoteles Krystal®, and the other brands we are proud to run, go to great lengths so that, on your pleasure or business trips, you feel the utmost confidence and security when choosing any of the hotels managed by Grupo Hotelero Santa Fe.

We are proud to announce that we are the first Mexican hotel chain to introduce a sanitary certification program called Stay Safe&Clean®, based on compliance with strict hygiene and sanitation protocols, duly audited and certified with a view to our guests and clients feeling the utmost confidence and safety when staying in any of our hotels.

Stay Safe&Clean®, is the result of an in-depth analysis of national and international standards to define the integral actions related to the cleaning and disinfection of our hotels in all their facilities, which entail three main steps.

Stay Safe&Clean
Our certification and procedures have a wide coverage in all areas of the hotel, it will be a process of continuous improvement and we will adapt to new trends. Below is a summary of the main actions:

Protocols: Stay Safe&Clean®, is supported by standards and measures recommended by Ecolab—a world leader in hygiene, products and services—to ensure clean and safe environments that operate efficiently and achieve sustainability goals.
Procedures: Through our strategic alliance with Ecolab, we implemented additional cleaning and disinfection procedures prior to reopening and during the operation of the hotels, as well as in periodic processes. We also regularly deliver training courses to our staff in accordance with the local sanitary requirements.
Certification: To certify our Stay Safe&Clean® program, we have chosen Cristal International Standards for providing services based on world quality models such as Codex Alimentarius, HACCP-Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point Certification, WHO European Commission Health & Food Safety and for being an active member and part of the ABTA panel of experts for the design of standards in the tourism industry.
Rooms: A special procedure is carried out in the most transited areas. Deep cleaning and continuous disinfection of access handles, all furniture, light and TV remotes, sockets, as well as all bathroom accessories and contact points.
Food and drink: Continuous cleaning and disinfection of 100% of the furniture, dishes, glassware, plates, menus, supplies, etc., as well as kitchen equipment and utensils. Differentiated treatment of food contact surfaces, as well as deep cleaning and disinfection of kitchens, warehouses, storerooms and back of the house.
Public areas: Continuous cleaning and disinfection of hotels’ motor lobby and access, corridors, lobby, reception, gyms, swimming pools, meeting and banquet rooms, Kids Club, SPA, ice machines, elevator buttons, handrails, public computer equipment, storerooms, to mention but a few examples.
Collaborator areas: Special training and education for our collaborators, as well as disinfection of offices, dining rooms, bathrooms and staff areas. Use of disinfectant gel, masks, gloves and constant hand washing, among others.

Each and every one of these actions reflect our firm commitment to our guests, business partners and collaborators to meet and satisfy the new expectations to make your next trips safer and more pleasant experiences.
